Heating and Cooling Systems can be working at the end of there life span. Furnaces generally last for 15-25 years. Heat exchangers in forces air systems can’t be repaired and when they crack they can emit deadly carbon monoxide gasses.

Electrical curcuits can cause fires. Over fusing or unsafely fusing is a major safety concern.

Basement areas can house water and moisture problems or cracked walls. These can cost a bundle if left unattended.

Rotting wood can be often hard to find especially when it has been recently painted. It can be under window sashes, door frames, siding, and decking. The wood structures of a home should be periodically inspected for any rot.

Brick work needs to be kept up because it can prevent moisture damage and possible extensive damage from a chimney falling onto the roof.
